I insert some infos requested in the comments. I have very limited insight in how Ubuntu works, hence after googling for an hour I don't think i will find anything useful without a humans help.
To see if it detects a cam, but i got this feedback ls: cannot access '/dev/video*': No such file or directoryĪnd i also checked that the webcam is activated in the UEFI, so thats not the problem. I found some advice online that told me to try this: ls /dev/video* When opening "Cheese" i just get a message "no device found"
My microphone and my keyboard and so on all work fine, but my webcam does not.
WHAT IS INTEL SERIAL IO DELL XPS 13 DRIVERS
I just recently switched from Win 10 to Ubuntu 20.04 and chose the "stupid people" version where a lot of drivers are already pre-installed.
WHAT IS INTEL SERIAL IO DELL XPS 13 1080P
It's a powerful convertible designed for productivity with a beautiful 1080p or 4K 13.3-inch touch display.I am a very basic user of Ubuntu, so i would be very thankful for a bit of help here. It features 10nm Intel Ice Lake CPUs in the Core i3, i5, and i7 configurations, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB or 32GB of RAM, and 256GB, 512GB, or a 1TB PCIe SSD for storage. The Dell XPS 2-in-1 (7390) is an excellent convertible laptop with thin bezels and an industrial, modern, compact design. There's no USB-A on this device, which means you will need a dongle for any non-USB-C accessories.
Unfortunately, USB-C is the only port you're getting on the XPS 13 2-in-1 the device is so thin that it only has room to fit an additional port: the 3.5mm headphone jack. These USB-C ports are also used for charging and should charge the device very quickly thanks to the high passthrough rate enabled by Thunderbolt 3. A Thunderbolt 3-enabled port can support external accessories like dedicated GPUs, enabling more powerful graphics processing for rendering or gaming. In fact, it has two USB-C ports, both of which are Thunderbolt 3-enabled, and that means faster transfer speeds and more power through said ports. What kind of USB-C does the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 support?ĭell's latest XPS 13 2-in-1 convertible laptop does indeed support USB-C peripherals.
